The first One-Page RPG Jam took place in 2020, and my submission (The Fools Who Follow) was also the first one-page RPG I ever created. I've taken part every year since then, publishing Guardians of the Shadow Frontier in 2021, Interstellar Explorers in 2022, Arcane Agents in 2023, Troll Couriers of the Sky Isles in 2024, and The Wyrms That Turned in 2025.
This year's jam theme was "fractured", so I decided to go with a post-apocalyptic scenario, as it's not a genre I've done before. I've created one-pagers that take place during an apocalypse (Deep Trouble in Oldport Bay, Eldritch Apocalypse, and Rotten Odds), but none that take place years later.
My submission is called Fractured Frontiers!
I couldn't decide what sort of post-apocalyptic scenario to go for, so I ended up adding a random table for it, drawing inspiration from The Day of the Triffids, War of the Worlds, Priest, I Am Legend, Daybreakers, The Strain, Terminator (but set in the future), World War Z, and more.
